Release Notes: Notifications as a Microservice

We are excited to announce a feature-packed release, introducing the new Notifications functionality powered by microservice architecture. This update revolutionizes how users and client owners receive important notifications, ensuring timely and relevant information. Let’s explore the two categories of notifications and the actions associated with each:

Notifications received by Users:

Users will now receive notifications for the following actions:

  • Your recurring transaction for [Amount] to [Client Name] has been canceled.
  • Your recurring transaction for [Amount] to [Client Name] has failed.
  • Your transaction for [Amount] to [Client Name] has been refunded.
  • Your recurring transaction for [Amount] to [Client Name] has been processed.

Notifications received by Client Owners:

Client owners will receive notifications for various actions related to their clients:

  • Your admin permissions for [Client Name] have been updated.
  • [FirstName LastName] has paid [Amount] to [Client Name].
  • [Client Name] has been deactivated.
  • [Client Name] has been added to your agency.
  • [FirstName LastName] has accepted your admin invite.
  • [Client Name] is under review.
  • [Client Name] is approved for processing.
  • Your report for [Client Name] is ready.
  • Your offline transactions for [Client Name] were processed successfully.
  • A recurring transaction from FirstName LastName for [Amount] to [Client Name] has been processed.
  • Your admin permissions for [Client Name] have been updated.
  • API processing for [Client Name] has been approved.
  • Telemarketing permissions for [Client Name] have been approved.
  • CVV verification for [Client Name] has been removed.
  • AVS verification for [Client Name] has been removed.
  • ACH processing for [Client Name] has been approved.
  • [Amount] from [FirstName LastName] to [Client Name] has been refunded.
  • [FirstName LastName] has rejected your admin invite.
  • A recurring transaction from [FirstName LastName] for [Amount] to [Client Name] has failed.
  • Your offline transactions for [Client Name] were not processed due to an invalid format.
  • A withdrawal for [Client Name] has failed.
  • [FirstName LastName] has disputed a charge of [Amount] from [Client Name].
  • Webhook Name failed to sync.
  • Your offline transactions for [Client Name] were not processed.
  • Withdrawals for [Client Name] have been suspended, pending review.
  • Transactions for [Client Name] have been suspended, pending review.

This new feature will reduce the number of emails that get sent to our clients and instead move them inside of the platform. Not only does this reduce email fatigue, but we’ve helpfully color-coded these notifications so that our users can understand critical information at a glance.
